My hometown was a landlocked city located in the great mountains. Despite a long and difficult upstream journey, the wild salmon came back every year. I was really awe-struck by these fishes' determination. They are tired, injured, and nearing the end of their lives, yet they'll jump up the small falls to get where they are going. Wild salmon embody quiet strength and undefeatable spirit to me.
